The Ouachita Challenge this year was a great time as usual. But I only completed half of what I was planning. The plan was to ride the course on Saturday and Sunday for DK200 training. I woke up Sunday morning with a cough and fever and ended up with the full blown flu! Not eating for 3 days after burning 5000ish calories makes for a hard recovery. That was Sunday, March 28 and I am just now able to do things without getting out of breath. Now to start over and work up to the Dirty Kanza 200 on June 5th.
